Singularly the most important thing for all of us.
Whilst it is  particularly important for food handlers (both at home and at work) it is of utmost importance for all of us.
Unclean hands are by far the biggest risk in the spread germs and diseases.
If you do nothing else I really urge you to take this course.

This advanced hand hygiene course will tell you exactly how to ensure your hands are clean and sanitised.

Unclean hands account for the vast majority of disease transmission which causes illness and death.
Good hand hygiene could save your life and that of others including the people you love.
Trouble is we (that’s people like me) have always told you to wash your hands for 20 seconds.
Now that’s great except for one thing.   We don’t do it!!!

So here is a completely new approach that I think will make hand hygiene a more thoughtful and practical process.

IMPORTANT!
When I refer to hand sanitiser in this course I specifically mean alcohol hand sanitiser that has at least 60% alcohol content. This is not to say other non-alcohol hand sanitisers are ineffective. Its just that I haven’t done any research on the wide variety of non-alcohol hand sanitisers available and I know from the most reliable sources (such as CDC and WHO) that 60% + alcohol content sanitiser is effective against many germs including viruses like COVID 19. But note alcohol based hand sanitiser is not effective against noro-viruses (more on that in the course!).

USING SOAP AND WATER TO WASH HANDS IS THE BEST OPTION WHEN AVAILABLE (AND WHEN DONE PROPERLY!).

Make sure you complete all the lessons and quizzes to get your Advanced Hand Hygiene Certificate

Note this training has been made more generic to include infectious diseases including COVID-19.
